M.Sahzy

M.Sahzy is a Bornean artist currently residing in Kuching, Sarawak who creates surreal sculptures from organic materials. Mostly made in the natural environment of the jungle, his sculptures reflect an affiliation between the materials, the space in which he works, and his own ‘imagination and ideas’. He investigates the possibilities that exist within the materials; in addition, each sculpture represents a special experience that he have had over weeks and or months. The materials become the text and the sculpture becomes the story.

In addition to natural materials, M. Sahzy also works with man-made ones. There is no common link between these materials other than the fact that he finds himself drawn to things that lie abandoned, or discarded.

M.sahzy also do collaboration and Commissions for the events, exhibition, and personal needs.
